Bringing responsible AI to the public sector: Leading Longeye's Series A
Investigators are overwhelmed, with 70% of detectives saying they don’t have enough time to review all their digital evidence. As a result, details slip through the cracks, clues are missed, and ultimately, most serious crimes go unsolved, including almost 50% of homicides.
Complex criminal cases generate tens of thousands of pieces of digital evidence. This evidence spans modalities: jail calls, interviews, cell phone dumps, social media warrants, and many, many more. Manual review becomes extremely time-intensive when a single case today generates more digital material in a week than older cases generated in months.
Solving these problems is exactly where Longeye shines, and why we’re excited to lead its $20M Series A.
Changing case outcomes
Longeye is the AI-powered investigative workspace for law enforcement and the future of criminal investigation. The platform is built to process and analyze massive amounts of evidence, regardless of source, file type, or language, at speeds up to 100x faster than a human reviewer. Leveraging Longeye ensures every piece of evidence is cited and defensible.
Today, through its Investigate and Monitor products, Longeye is purpose-built for the investigative workflows of detectives, prosecutors, public defenders, and the entire justice ecosystem. We’ve spoken with several of these customers, many of whom have said that they “don’t want to work cases without Longeye.”
Longeye does more than speed up work: the platform has a transformative impact on case outcomes, finding and surfacing critical evidence that would otherwise have sat untouched and missed. Agencies have conducted more than 200,000 investigator-hours of evidence review, the equivalent of 100 investigators working full-time for a year.
Engineers and detectives building together
When we met co-founders Guillaume Delépine and Danielle Man, both of whom are alumni of the N47 portfolio, we were excited about their incredible talent and complementary backgrounds. Combined, they bring years of GTM experience at Skydio, working directly with law enforcement in the public sector, with a decade of technical leadership at Apollo GraphQL.
Guillaume and Dani have brought on an incredible team of talented engineers as well as former detectives and police chiefs, all unified by the shared vision of bringing responsible AI to the public sector.
We’ve been impressed with their exceptional hustle and long-term ambition, and continue to see them move at a relentless pace as they build out the Longeye platform.
Conclusion
When piles of evidence threaten to overwhelm law enforcement professionals, Longeye is how the justice system keeps up with the modern world.
We are excited to announce that N47 has led Longeye’s $20M Series A. Together with Guillaume, Dani, and their team, we believe in a world where Longeye can and will accelerate justice for all.
