I am drawn to products that don’t just work better; they reset expectations so thoroughly that prior approaches look like historical artifacts. That is the bar.
For as long as I can remember, I have been taking problems apart to see what lies underneath. In my teens, I designed a suspension system for a Le Mans car and spent a summer inside Formula 1, working on software, electronics, and mechanical systems. Those experiences taught me early how tightly great engineering, relentless iteration, and taste in design are woven together.
At Cambridge, I studied engineering with an aerospace focus (and learned software the hard way, in C++). I then joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s TMT M&A team, seeing how big technology companies are evaluated from the outside in. Today, I am privileged to blend that lens with my engineering roots by partnering with founders solving hard, often deeply technical problems. Over the past four years, I have backed teams at the forefront of security, infrastructure, data, and semiconductors. I believe that hardware and software are both foundational to the future humanity is constructing.
